What we do
We empower and build capacity for the business women entrepreneurs in the Rwenzori sub region and it subscribes under the WESTERN UGANDA WOMEN ENTREPRENUERS DAIS LTD at the regional level. This network endeavours to create a business enabling environment for women entrepreneurs with a specific focus on micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Any woman entrepreneur trading as a sole proprietor or a company where the woman holds 51% shares and above, with the business being within the targeted area qualifies as a beneficiary for the network.

Business Advisory
As part of raising women entrepreneur initiative, Rwenzori Women Business Network Limited advisory team is composed of experts in different fields who share their experiences, best practices in business management and advise the women entrepreneurs about common barriers in business whilst highlighting the opportunities to seize.
Trainings
The main objective is to enable women entrepreneurs to utilize appropriate business skills, information and services aimed at achieving a sustainable and competitive business sector in the long run. Entrepreneurs are taken through the skills of running and sustaining an enterprise. Trainings are conducted for two to three days in each district with a training capacity of about 20 participants per day. Over 300 women have so far to benefited from this imitative.
Women entrepreneur’s mentorship
Rwenzori Women Business Network Limited has a comprehensive business mentorship program where beneficiaries are trained on the current trends in business such as digital innovation and E-commerce, agribusiness value additions, manufacturing and consumer services, customer service management, business E-filing, record and book keeping etc. This program ranges from 3-6 months. With support of WUWED and Embibo Foundation a bi- monthly talk show is run on Nyumbani FM to target both refugees and the community.
Business Expo
The company has established relationships with prominent businesses in the country and overseas, selected women entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to showcase some of their products and also be taken around other business to learn on the key business practical aspects. The Business expo will be free of charge for a selected set of members under the initiative.
